NOTE: It is impressive that Scholars at Risk gets the out so punctually every week, and I am embarrassed it takes to long to get them posted here.  I get wrapped up in work and re-posting the latest examples of disregard or disdain for teaching, learning, the advancement of human knowledge and the application of it in our world is  an unpleasant task that is easily put off.  Especially when I am unsure who even reads these posts.  But I ought not put them off.  Brave people are in danger simply because they speak their mind.  And if only one person reads these updates and becomes better informed, they will have done what they were meant to do, especially if that person then takes some action!  Support scholars at risk by supporting Scholars a Risk!
